I was on my way home from the VA meet 2 weeks ago and a Mustang insisted to ride high beam behind me. No, i didn't cut him off, i just got in front of him. So the traffic lightens up and he pulls next to me. I look over, his gf/wife is sleeping with the head on the passenger side window. OK.. time for rude wake up call... Dan style. Traffic was coming up about 200 yards. We were going about 85. I dump 3rd.. bang!! rev limiter (oops) slip into 4th. That rev limiter hitting deal cost me.. it slowed me down for the one second it gave him to keep up. But as soon as i grab 4th traffic was coming up 100 yards. He's on my driver side trying to keep up and not let me in eventhough it was a wall of traffic. Here comes the RUDE wake up call: 40 yards, JAM ON THE BRAKES LIKE A MOFO. he does the same. What do you think happens to the sleeping passgener when he buries that nose in the pavement? yep... i look over, she's screaming at him all pissed off and he's pointing to me. I laugh and go about my way. Needless to say, he stayed behind me all the way to my exit.. slow and steady.. slow and steady. Adda-boy.
